Eduard Sharmazanov: The more Head of "My Step" bloc speaks, the less  chances he will have to win votes of rational people 

ArmInfo. Any division of the citizens of Armenia is unacceptable, Deputy President of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov  said on September 11 in an interview  with journalists.

According to him, the biggest misfortune of the Armenian people is  the constant division into Bagratunies and Artsrunies, the Dashnaks  and Bolsheviks, on the Communists and the Armenian Liberation  Movement, on the "blacks" and "whites." "Those who are looking for  enemies in their homeland, while calling themselves" white ", should  be ready to listen to the opinion of  the" blacks, "- said  Sharmazanov. "I want to note that the representatives of the  Republican Party of Armenia, no matter what Prime Minister Pashinyan  says on this issue, do not hold secret talks either in cafes, or  under arches, or anywhere else." We did not even nominate our own  candidate for the upcoming elections to the Council of Elders. If  there was a necessity, we would nominate our candidate and use our  resources in order to get the votes of the voters, "the Deputy   President stressed.

"We gave our party representatives complete freedom so that they  could choose the program they consider most suitable. If someone from  our party wants to choose " My Step "  bloc they can do as they want.   Although, the more the Head of the "My step"  bloc and his allies  speak the less chances he will have to win votes of rational people "  Sharmazanov stressed.

Touching upon the internal political situation in the country, the  Deputy President noted that the main political body in the country is  the National Assembly. "I ask you not to link the upcoming elections  to the Yerevan municipality with the forthcoming political processes,  regardless of who will rule in the city and who will not, we will  conduct the political process in the way our state interests demand,"  the Deputy President concluded. .

To note on September 2 during the election campaign to the Council of  Elders of Yerevan, the candidate from" My Step", headed by the Prime  Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, comedian Hayk Marutyan said that  there are no games against their team and those who don't choose them  are "black". For this statement, Marutyan was severely criticized in  social networks. Marutyan's opponents for the post of the head of  Yerevan also subjected him to harsh criticism.
