


ArmInfo. In order to study the best practices of tax administration in Southeast Asia, a high-ranking delegation of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) headed by David Ananian is in Singapore on a working visit.
During the visit, SRC officials got acquainted with the organization of business processes and electronic management systems of the tax authority of Singapore in order to further use the experience in Armenia. To study the experience, a number of working meetings were organized with the guidance of various tax authorities in Singapore. The Singapore colleagues expressed their readiness to help the Armenian delegation in achieving the goals of the tax reform. Representatives of the tax system presented their strategic plans and vision to the Armenian colleagues, the electronic processes of the tax body, as well as programs to increase the tax discipline of taxpayers in Singapore, risk analysis and inspection plans. The tax system departments also provided electronic information on the methods and instruments used to measure and monitor the tax liabilities of companies in Singapore. The visit continues.
