According to him, according to the press service of the Armenian government, Yerevan is ready to continue effective cooperation with this international organization. The interlocutors, pointing to the high level of bilateral interaction, discussed the issue of its deepening. The Prime Minister, presenting the latest domestic political developments in the country, noted that they are aimed at the development of democracy, the rule of law, the fight against corruption, and the implementation of reforms in the direction of early parliamentary elections. Nikol Pashinyan stressed that for the government of Armenia priority is to hold more open, transparent and democratic elections. The Government notes the importance of cooperation in this process with international structures, including the OSCE, counting on its technical and expert assistance.
Thomas Greminger welcomed the processes taking place in the country and stated the readiness of the OSCE to assist the Armenian government in implementing the reform agenda.
The Prime Minister of Armenia and the OSCE Secretary General touched upon the process of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of the active efforts of the OSCE and the international community towards the transformation of the region into a safer zone, noting that Armenia
is committed exclusively to a peaceful settlement of the conflict through negotiations within the framework of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group.
