General Secretary of Francophonie to visit Yerevan

ArmInfo. Secretary General of Francophonie Mikael Jean will visit September 10-14. This was stated on August 28 during a briefing by Anna Naghdalyan, acting spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

 

At the same time, she added that preparations are continuing for the forthcoming summit of Francophonie, which is scheduled for October this year. "Jean in Yerevan will attend the 11th meeting of the non- governmental commission of Francophonie," she said.

 

At the same time, Naghdalyan informed that the visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan to Geneva is planned in September, where he will attend the 39th session of the Human Rights Council.

 

The representative of the Foreign Ministry also said that a high-ranking delegation of Armenia will participate in the opening session of the UN General Assembly, within the framework of which a number of bilateral meetings are planned.
