Pashinyan`s foreign policy adviser leaves his post - I need to take a break: to assess personal transformation

ArmInfo. Advisor to the Prime  Minister of Armenia on foreign policy Arsen Haratyan resigns. He  wrote about this on his Facebook page, informing that he had  submitted a statement of resignation to Nikol Pashinyan on August 23.

The decision, as explained by Kharatyan, is due to two important  circumstances. "My family, who lives in Tbilisi and will remain  there, at least until the summer of 2019. And secondly, there is a  need to rethink and accurately assess the personal transformations  that have taken place me for three months in the civil service, "- he  wrote.

As Kharatian stressed, before moving to the civil service, Pashinyan  set before him a clear task: this situation should not be that one  part of the month he was in Yerevan, and the second - in Tbilisi.  "Then I confidently answered that this will not happen.For these  months my working pace has been very intense, and now I understand  that we need to take a break to stay close to my family and assess  the way I've passed," Kharatyan wrote. He stressed that he will  continue to help Nikol Pashinyan.  Arsen Haratyan was appointed  advisor to the Armenian Prime Minister on foreign policy issues in  June 2018. Kharatyan graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies  of Yerevan State University, studied at the University of George  Mason (USA). Was a correspondent for the Armenian service of the  Voice of America. In Tbilisi, he founded the Armenian-Georgian news  media project "Aliq Media" - Aliq Media.

We note that, according to rumors rumored in the media, Arsen  Kharatyan can be appointed ambassador of Armenia to Georgia. It is  noted that the wife of Arsen Kharatyan - Sonia Shahrigian (Sonia  Shahrigian) currently works in a diplomatic position in the US  Embassy in Tbilisi, being a US citizen. Recall also that Arsen  Kharatyan himself, surrounded by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, was  earlier named one of the main persons responsible for the scandal  with the arrest and further release on bail of the CSTO Secretary  General Yuri Khachaturov.
