Selphi with Angela Merkel: German Chancellor had a walk in evening Yerevan

ArmInfo. German Chancellor Angela  Merkel together with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, his  wife, and Armenian President Armen Sargsyan strolled evening in  Yerevan the evening before. This was announced by the head of the  Armenian government on his Facebook page after publishing a photo  from the walk.  "We are on the Northern Avenue," the premier said.  Nikol Pashinyan laid out some more photos, on which Angela Merkel is  taking pictures with the residents of the capital. "The Chancellor of  Germany on the Northern Avenue is happy to take photos with dozens of  citizens," Pashinyan signed the photos.  Recall that Angela Merkel on  August 24, within the framework of the regional visit, arrived in  Yerevan from Georgia. 

The Chancellor visited the Memorial Complex to the victims of the  Armenian Genocide, met with Armenian President Armen Sargsyan and  Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. She also visited the center  of Tumo and PicsArt. In the evening, a joint press conference of the  German Chancellor and the head of the Armenian government was held at  the residence of the Prime Minister of Armenia. Today, as part of her  tour of the South Caucasus, Merkel will visit Baku. The visit of  Chancellor Angela Merkel is unprecedented in the entire 26-year  history of relations between Armenia and Germany. Until now, the  President of Germany, the Vice-Chancellor and the Minister of Foreign  Affairs came to Armenia.
