SRC: searches in the travel agency "Maratuk" were conducted on the basis of a court decision - the director of the company reacted inadequately

ArmInfo. The Armenian State  Revenue Committee (SRC) conducted searches in the Maratuk travel  agency on the basis of a court decision.

According to the information of the press service of the SRC, six  employees - investigators and representatives of the operational  search department - were sent to the company to conduct searches in  the criminal case. SRC employees reportedly went inside, according to  the established procedure, introduced themselves and asked where the  director of the organization is. Further, they presented to the  director of the travel agency the decision of the court to conduct  searches. However, the head of "Maratuka" demonstrated improper  behavior, saying that he would not allow searches in the company. At  the same time, he threatened the SRC employees and said that he would  invite the representatives of the mass media, thus trying to prevent  the implementation of legal actions carried out on the basis of a  court decision.  "Employees of the SRC, seeing that it is impossible  to calm the indignant director and that the situation is further  aggravated, to prevent further complications, the special forces of  the SRC were invited, who, of course, were not armed, but no action  on their part was undertaken, because the situation managed to  normalize, "- said in a statement of the tax and customs department.  Meanwhile, the director of the Maratuk company, Zorik Vardanyan, told  the media that "employees of the SRC Investigative Committee, armed  to the teeth, broke into the travel agency and searched without any  reason."
