This was stated during the meeting held between the Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sadzhadi and the head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Arthur Vanetsyan.
As the press service of the National Security Service told ArmInfo, in turn, the ambassador confirmed that Armenia and Iran were and always will remain friendly countries, and expressed confidence that the previously established lasting cooperation will continue, and further deepen for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
Iranian diplomat stressed that Iran has no restrictions with regard to Armenia, and now the necessary work is done to find new ways of cooperation.
Referring to the already existing spheres of cooperation, Vanetsyan noted that Armenia has a special attitude to the problems related to tourism, and a great importance is paid to the interest and the large flow of citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran to our country in recent years. The Head of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia assured that every effort is being made to ensure the safety of tourists.
