ArmInfo. The National Security Service of Armenia on suspicion of illegal acquisition and storage of weapons and ammunition detained the brother of former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan - Henrik Abrahamyan (Jonik) and his business partner Ambik Gevorgyan. This is stated in the official report of the National Security Service.
Having received operational data, the NSS carried out a search in the maintenance repair plant located in the village of Mkhchyan, Ararat region, which was registered in the name of Ambik Gevorgyan, but owned by Abrahamyans.
As a result of the search, a large number of illegal weapons and ammunition were found, in particular 3 hand-held machine guns, 7 AK-74 assault rifles, 2 sniper rifles, 3 rifles of various types, 2 pistols and a large number of bullets of different calibers.
