ArmInfo. Armenia will take part in NATO trainings in Georgia the newspaper "VZGLYAD" in Tbilisi.
According to the source, on the eve of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia announced that from August 1 to August 15, the country will host the "Decent Partner-2018" exercise involving more than 3,000 troops and equipment from 13 NATO countries and partner countries of the military bloc. The exercise "Decent partner" will be held for the fourth consecutive year. At first they were only Georgian-American, then the British joined them. Last year, eight NATO countries and alliance partners - 2,800 military personnel - participated in the exercises in Georgia. Such exercises traditionally work out the issues of interaction in various offensive and defensive operations. The equipment will come from Germany, where the American command of forces in Europe is located.
Together with Georgia, the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Armenia will be represented at the exercises.
Georgia's membership in NATO was promised in 2008 without specifying a specific time frame.
