The unfulfilled tax liabilities of two cargo companies - "Sargsyan  import" and "Arm & Man" increased by 600 million AMD

ArmInfo.The unfulfilled tax liabilities of the two cargo companies - "Sargsyan import" and "Arm & Man" increased to 2 billion 600 million AMD. The press service of the  State Revenue Committee of Armenia reported.

A month earlier it was reported that in the Investigative Department  of the SRC on the grounds of Part 2 of Article 205 of the RA Criminal  Code criminal cases were initiated and investigated on tax evasion in  especially large amounts by Sargsyan Import and Arm And Man,  importing different types of goods from Turkey, China, EAEU member  states, wholesale and retail sales, and exports to EAEU member states  of goods imported from third countries. Then, according to  preliminary estimates, the damage to the state in the form of  underpaid taxes was estimated at 2 billion AMD.

Then the investigation found that the real owners of "Sargsyan  Import" and "Arm & Man" Karlen Mkrtchyan and Bagrat Navoyan, taking  advantage of the privilege granted to import goods and their further  customs clearance, for a number of years, were engaged in importing  Turkish, Chinese, the EAEU member states' goods. 

Meanwhile, the real owners of the imported goods were various  individuals and organizations that carried out transportation and  customs clearance of their goods through these companies on the basis  of their privileges. It turned out that Karlen Mkrtchyan organized  the activities of the so-called "cargo companies" not only through  "Arm & Man" LLC, but also "Nine Friends", "Four Friends", "Howarth",  "Ed Export" and "Mar Trade" companies.

Based on the information received, the SRC recalculated the damage  caused to the state. As a result, the damage caused to the state by  the results of the activities of the Nine Friends, Four Friends,  Howarth, Ed Export and Mar Trade companies amounted to 600 million  drams.
