Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan urgently summoned a new deputy military inspector of the RA, General Mikael Arzumanyan, to give explanations in connection with information about the organization of protest rallies in Artsakh. The press secretary of the Prime Minister Arman Eghoyan told this to the TV channel yerkirmedia.
He stressed that the prime minister's position on such issues is unambiguous - the military should not interfere in political processes. "Otherwise, such soldiers will be severely punished," Yeghoyan assured.
Today the Artsakh initiative group "Free Awakening" issued a statement in which she stressed that she would hold a rally in Stepanakert demanding the resignation of President Bako Sahakyan. In the statement, they stressed that they were assisted by the RA Deputy Military Inspector General Mikael Arzumanyan, having unveiled the photo of the latter with the members of the initiative group.
Earlier, after the protests in Artsakh, the Armenian Prime Minister announced his unconditional support of the NKR authorities and the reforms they are carrying out.
