Day offs in July will be limited by the Constitution Day - July 5

ArmInfo. In connection with the Constitution Day tomorrow, July 5, will be a non-working day, July 6 - a working day.

According to the approved order, the Government of Armenia by its  resolution establishes additional days off, timed to the holidays.  Usually the working day was postponed to Saturday, and the citizens  of the country, after the "preferential" working week, were forced to  work 6 days in a row the following week.  However, this time the  government decided not to follow the accepted practice and after a  non-working day - July 5, the 6th, on Friday, there will be a working  day.

As for today, there is no solution also in connection with the July 9  - Day of Remembrance of the passed away (Merelots), which also, if a  non-working day was established, was previously established by a  government decision. The day dedicated to the commemoration of the  passed away (Merelots) follows each of the five major holidays of the  Armenian Apostolic Church - Holy Christmas and Baptism, Holy  Resurrection of Christ, Transfiguration of the Lord (Vardavar),  Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, Exaltation of the Life-Giving Cross  of the Lord. Merelots was first announced in Armenia a non-working  day under Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in 2008 at the suggestion of  the Holy See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
