As ArmInfo correspondent was told in the medical center, the patient entered a clinic with multiple fractures, his condition remains extremely bad, but there is no threat to Arutyunov's life. The medical center also reported that the patient has not yet been operated on.

According to ArmInfo sources, Arutyunov has already testified against Gagik Tsarukyan and his guards.  Based on these testimonies, the scandalously known security chief Tsarukyan Edo (Eduard Babayan) was detained. Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, Minister of Emergency Situations Hrachya Rostomyan called for the interrogation.

As ArmInfo informs referring to sources in sports circles, an incident occurred last night with the participation of the chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, the head of the Tsarukyan block Gagik Tsarukyan and representatives of the Boxing Federation of Armenia. The incident occurred in Tsarukyan's "Olimpavan", during a meeting of the leadership of the NOC with boxers. The incident began with a verbal squabble between Tsarukyan who criticized the work of the Federation and its leadership and the father of the world boxing champion Nikolay Arutyunov, Vyacheslav Arutyunov, who dared to stand up for the leadership of the Federation, in particular, its head Arthur Gevorgyan, in spite of Tsarukyan. The verbal dispute turned into melee, but the Tsarukyan's "retinue" quickly suppressed the brave man who was taken to the hospital with various fractures. As the source told ArmInfo, Tsarukyan is now trying to get the Federation of Sport to his hands, replacing his chapter, as this is the only sport organization, except for the Football Federation, in fact acting de facto on its own.  According to the source, on the eve of the parliamentary elections Tsaroukyan tries to enlist the support of the entire sports world, as one of the levers of a successful election campaign was already deprived of his government by adopting a law on charity, which in fact limits the possibility of distributing pre-election bribes under the guise of charitable activities.  Initially, Tsarukyan intended to head the boxing Federation of the criminal authority Don Pipo (Arthur Asatryan), but after his arrest, the cards mingled, and now the NOC is trying to postpone the election of the Federation head appointed on July 5 in order to be able to find a new candidate for this fast.  To this end, the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Levon Vahradyan, who de facto submits to Tsarukyan, began collecting signatures among the boxers in order to postpone election day.
