The prosecutor's office is the main intersection on the way to ensuring justice, and it is very important that the traffic light at this intersection work properly - in accordance with law and law. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in his congratulatory speech at the solemn  event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the RA Prosecutor's Office.

According to the prime minister, a new page has been opened for all  state bodies, including the Prosecutor's Office, and it gives the  prosecutor's office great opportunities. "The core principle of this  page is that in Armenia, the perpetrators must be held accountable,  and this responsibility must be proportionate, lawful and fair.The  innocent should not be subjected to any persecution at all, the  rights of all parties to the judicial process must be protected, and  this is one from the most important functions of the Prosecutor's  Office, "the prime minister said. As the prime minister stressed, the  most important demand of Armenian citizens is the demand for justice,  in the implementation of which the role of the prosecutor's office is  great. "The prosecutor's office is the most important crossroads on  the way to ensuring justice, and it is very important that the  traffic light at this intersection work properly - in accordance with  law and law," he said. In this context, as the head of government  noted, the most important task of the RA Prosecutor's Office is to  ensure the rule of law. Legality, in this case, as explained by the  prime minister, should not look back at who is the object of her  attention - a representative of the government or an oppositionist,  an incumbent or former official. "This attitude and policy should not  be conditioned by political conjuncture or any kind of subtext," he  noted. In modern Armenia, as Pashinyan stressed, a new incentive is  given to fight corruption, where it also does not matter who  committed the crime. The prime minister considered it an important  function of the prosecutor's office and protection of the interests  of the state, he expressed hope that the Armenian prosecutor's office  will take a principled position and develop principled activities to  protect the state interests.
