ArmInfo. The medical center of a large businessman and RPA MP Samvel Aleksanyan will be obliged to pay unpaid taxes to the state budget, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Rafik Mashadyan stated in an interview with journalists on June 28.
According to him, the Committee struggles daily with economic entities who try to hide the real number of employees, or the amount of their wages. As a result of this work, according to data for January-May 2018, the State Revenue Committee registered increase of average salary of the taxpayers of the trade sector by about 8 thousand AMD throughout republic.
Mashadyan noted that the problem of concealing real incomes and unregistered employees was also observed in the healthcare field. Astghik medical center is not an exception. "Recently, Astghik Medical Center filed an updated tax return, which resulted in an additional income tax of about 38 million drams (about $ 78,000) to the state budget," the representative of the KGD said.
"Astghik'' Medical Center is the successor of the "Malatia" hospital. In 2010, "Natali Farm" LLC acquired "Malatia". As reported on the official website of the medical center, the clinic is named "Astghik" in honor of the mother of the owner of the center Samvel Aleksanyan.
