Mass media: Taron Margaryan resigns 

ArmInfo.Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan has already signed in resignation letter, Armenian mass media reports. 

According to the information the t head of the capital's municipality  has not attended workplace e for several days already. 

It is also informed that the issue of the new acting Yerevan Mayor is  also agreed. Member of Elders' Council of Yerevan and member of RPA,  Director of Synopsis Armenia Hovik Musayelyan will be elected by the  Elders' Council and temporarily assume the position.

It is planned to finally solve the issue after the early  parliamentary elections. At the current stage candidacies of first  Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Minister of Education and  Science Arayik Harutyunyan are being discussed. 

To recall, on June 25 the protest action was held against the mayor  of Yerevan Taron Margaryan. A video-investigation became the reason  of protest action.  This video showed all the numerous property of   the mayor, in particular, several apartments in  various buildings,  a house with a plot of land, a cottage, a garage, a  public building,  etc.  Later the assistant to the premier Aren Mkrtchyan made a  statement that all  the information, published the day before in the  video about Taron Margaryan's multi-million state, was transferred to  the National Security Service. On his page in Facebook Mkrtchyan in  particular wrote that the  transferred materials will be attached to  the case of the financial  fraud of the Yerevan Foundation, whose  head of the Board of Trustees  is Margaryan.  He also stated that he   was ready to take part in the  investigation of the case as a  witness.

Meanwhile, the last meeting of the 3rd session of the Elders' Council  of Yerevan took place yesterday, which was held by Deputy Mayor of  Yerevan Kamo Areyan. "Mayor Taron Margaryan is absent because of  problems with health", he stated.
