ArmInfo.Criminal persecution against Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, first Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and MP Sasun Mikaelyan has been stopped, Special Investigative Commitee of Armenia informs.
According to the information, on the fact of events that occurred from April 13 to April 22, 2018, the Committee instituted criminal proceedings under Article 225 part 1 and 2, and Article 225 Part 1. and 2. As part of this case, on April 22, MPs Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sasun Mikaelyan were detained. The prosecution was carried out against David Sanasaryan (now head of the Control Service), Armen Grigoryan (now Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia), Levon Barseghyan, Tigran Mazmanyan, Nairi Sargsian, Eric Khachatryan, Gevorg Manukyan, Mirzoyan and Haykaram Mnatsakanyan.
"The investigator of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia on June 21 decided to end the criminal prosecution and the suspension of the criminal case because of the absence of component elements of crime in the actions of these persons," the Armenian Special Investigative Service said
