ArmInfo. The founder of the Karabakh movement, who made an invaluable contribution to the liberation struggle of Artsakh Igor Muradyan, passed away. This was reported by the chairman of the Public Council, one of the activists of the movement, former Prime Minister of Armenia, and now the chairman of the Public Council Vazgen Manukyan.
According to him, after the victory of the movement, being never represented in power, Igor Muradyan continued his struggle for free and independent Armenia and development of Artsakh as a political analyst and analyst whose political assessments and thoughts always aroused interest in the society. "The name of the Public Council, and personally I express my condolences to the family of Igor Muradyan, his family and associates," Vazgen Manukyan said in his message.
Igor Muradyan died the day before in Yerevan after a long illness. Recently, he returned to Yerevan from the United States, where he underwent a course of treatment. He was born on April 29, 1957 in Odessa, graduated from the economic and geographical faculty of the Odessa University.
