ArmInfo.The Parliament of Bulgaria has ratified the agreement on the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership between the EU and Armenia (CEPA).
As the press service of the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia told ArmInfo, the agreement was ratified by the Bulgarian legislature on June 13 this year. "Thus, at present, Bulgaria's Presidency of the Council of the EU has become one of the first EU member states to approve the agreement, and we look forward to working with our Armeniann partners to implement it," the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia said.
The framework agreement on comprehensive and expanded partnership between Armenia and the EU was signed on November 24 in Brussels. The Armenian parliament in April 2018 unanimously ratified the agreement. On the part of the EU member states it has already been ratified by Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland. Since June 1 of this year, a temporary application of the framework agreement has begun.
