ArmInfo. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Igor Popov (Russia), Stefan Visconti (France) and Andrew Sheffer (USA) made a statement on the results of the visit to Armenia.
As the press service of the OSCE told ArmInfo, the co-chairs held meetings with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Defense Minister David Tonoyan and President Armen Sarkissian on June 12-14. According to the report, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also participated in the meetings.
According to the organization, the co-chairs and officials of Armenia reviewed the course of the talks and discussed further steps to advance the process, including through the organization of a meeting in the near future at the level of foreign ministers. "They also exchanged views on the current situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the Karabakh-Azeri contact line, stressing the importance of maintaining a constructive atmosphere." The co-chairs reiterated their determination to assist the parties in finding a peaceful solution to the conflict on the basis of the fundamental principles of the Helsinki Final Act, force or threat of force, the territorial integrity of states and the right of peoples to self-determination. They expressed their support for the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group, the office of Kasprzyk, and expressed their readiness to continue productive work under the auspices of the co-chairs, "the statement of the mediators distributed by the OSCE office said.
