ACBA-Leasing: For the first time in Armenia electric cars are leased

ArmInfo. ACBA-Leasing, in cooperation with ABC Ani LLC, importing Japanese electric vehicles Nissan Leaf, announces the launch of a leasing program, within which  the purchase of electric vehicles for leasing will be available in  Armenia for the first time.

As ACBA-Leasing press-service explained, by means of Green leasing  electric vehicles Nissan Leaf from the secondary market can be  purchased for leasing at an annual interest rate of 13-14% (in  drams), with a maturity of up to 3 years, with a 30% prepayment. In  this case, lessees will be provided with warranty services for  electronics.

The general director of ACBA-Leasing Arsen Bazikyan noted that the  leasing of electric vehicles is carried out within the framework of  the Green Leasing sub-brand. "We have always paid great attention to  the solution of issues in the field of environmental protection and  the introduction of energy-efficient technologies, and within this  program we will start adapting innovative and environmentally  friendly vehicles in Armenia with our partners," he stressed.

In turn, director of "ABC Ani" LLC Ara Khachatryan noted that  electric vehicles have significant advantages. He explained that if  there is only 20 kW of electric power, it will be possible to  overcome the distance of 120-150 km. "That is, in the daytime the  cost of a full refueling will be 800 drams, and in the night time -  640 drams," A. Khachatryan said.  In addition, he said, in comparison  with cars that have an internal combustion engine, there are a number  of expensive parts that are missing from electric vehicles. "At the  same time, electric vehicles in Armenia are exempt from parking fees.  Maintenance from a price point of view is available, and within the  framework of our program we will provide warranty service for  electronics," concluded A. Khachatryan.

According to the Ranking of Armenian credit companies prepared by IC  ArmInfo, the volume of leasing operations of ACBA-Leasing by April 1,  2018 amounted to 12.96 billion drams with an annual growth of 1.4%.  In the total volume of leasing operations of banks and credit  companies, the share of ACBA-Leasing is 76.5%.
