ArmInfo. The most important message of the new government's program is the readiness of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers to fight corruption and shadow. All the rest are derivatives. The Minister of Finance of Armenia Atom Janjughazyan stated on June 7 in the parliament, commenting on blames of opponents of the government's program as "the document does not contain specific figures and deadlines, and thus is in no way reinforced and is a manifesto of good wishes."
The head of the Armenian Ministry of Finance noted that nowhere in the world have documented the requirements for drawing up such documents, which the opponents of the program may refer to. Each government, he noted, is free in its choice of the structure and content of the program. In this context, any criticism of the new Cabinet's program is just a matter of personal subjective views.
In addition, the government's program is not the only document that serves as a guide for the future development of the country. There are many different documents, in which the goals of the Cabinet will be more specifically reflected.
The most important aspect, Atom Janjughazyan believes, is that the government in its program reflected the pressing problems of the Armenian economy, the solution of which will ensure the economic growth of the country - from combating corruption and shadow to eradicating monopolies and developing a competitive environment. Implementation of this policy will provide the state treasury dividends in the form of additional revenues, which in turn will necessarily lead to positive results for the country's economy. Meanwhile, as practice shows, the availability of digital indicators in the government program does not always guarantee economic growth, and vice versa. The main thing, the minister noted, is the sincere intentions of the authorities to ensure the growth and welfare of the population.
