ArmInfo. The reforms and programs initiated under the former minister of defense will be continued, if necessary, they will be corrected, they will be improved. The  Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan stated in the conversation  with journalists.

This applies to programs like "Honor I have" and "This is me," as  well as the Social Security Fund for military personnel and their  families. "At the moment I see no basis for stopping the activities  of this fund," the minister said.

At the same time, he stressed that some adjustments will be made to  the law on the abolition of the postponement of compulsory military  service. "Although I think that the number of conscripts receiving a  deferment, even in this case, does not increase significantly."  Earlier, thousands of conscripts addressed the deferment, now their  number has decreased by several times," the minister said.

Tonoyan did not comment on the statement of the head of the National  Security Council Armen Grigoryan about the inexpediency of further  implementation of the concept of "Nation-Army", again noting that the  programs will be continued with some adjustments. "This also applies  to the 7-year concept on the development of the defense sector, and  periodically it will be amended, it will be improved, but we will  adhere to it," the minister said.
