ArmInfo. Turkish deputy of Armenian origin from the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party Karo Pailan plans to visit Armenia and meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
In an interview with akunq.net, Pailan, expressing his attitude towards the new government of Armenia, noted that during his last visit to Yerevan he met with representatives of the "Elk" party as well as Nikol Pashinyan. "They considered themselves a modest party, but I told them that I was following the program of their party, which has many similarities with the program of the People's Democratic Party, I also told them that they will definitely succeed and that I support them, but, and then I did not expect that they would succeed in such short terms. "After 6 months they conducted a silent revolution in Armenia, and the voices of the poor and depressed democratic changes were heard. I plan to return to Turkey immediately after the elections in Turkey Armenia and the sag and a tete-a-tete meeting with Pashinyan," the Turkish MP said.
Answering the question of what the policy on the Armenian issue today is, Pailan stressed that his party's position on this issue and on everything else related to the problems of the peoples is clear - to establish a way of life based on the principle of equality as regards current politics, and contact with history on the issue of genocide against all peoples. "We are fighting in this direction, in this issue our Party has no omissions, the Party pursues a policy of establishing brotherhood and equality of all peoples, contact with the past, which we will continue in the future," concluded Pailan.
