ArmInfo. On May 29, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Clara.
As the press service of the government reports, the prime minister omitted the importance of developing relations between Armenia and the European Union in all directions. Nikol Pashinyan considered it necessary to quickly accredit the Agreement on Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership between Armenia and the EU member states, expressing confidence that this agreement will give a new impetus to cooperation and lead to various reforms in Armenia.
In turn, Toivo Claar stressed the need to give a new impetus to the relations between Armenia and the EU and expressed the hope that, before the final ratification of the Agreement, bilateral relations will continue to develop.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. Pashinyan noted that Armenia is adherent to an exceptionally peaceful resolution of this issue in the format of the OSCE Misnk Foundation.
