ArmInfo.Under the leadership of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan a meeting was held dedicated to the preparation and holding of the 17th Summit of Francophonie in Yerevan in October this year. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the Armenian government.
Pashinyan, opening the meeting, stressed the importance of organizing and holding the event at a high level. He reminded that this event is unprecedented in its scale in the history of the third republic and it is necessary to do everything to make this summit historic not only for Armenia, but also for the International Olympic Committee.
The Prime Minister was informed that the event will be attended by the heads of state and government of about fifty states, it is also expected that the delegations of partner structures of Francophonia will participate, the total number of guests will be about 5,000 people. Within the framework of the summit, an economic business forum will be held, as well as a number of other important events. The summit will be held under the motto "Live Together" and a special website is already being developed.
Pashinyan noted that meetings will be held periodically to resolve all the problems that arise regarding the organization and holding of the summit.
