Pashinyan intends to remove constitutional obstacles to Diaspora  participation in Armenia`s life

ArmInfo.The meaning of Armenia's existence should be the consolidation of the social, economic, financial, scientific potential of the Armenian people on the territory of the republic, ensuring the safety and natural development of this potential. This was stated in his next video  address by the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"Our main goal should be the suspension of the millennial wave of  emigration of the Armenian people and the return of Armenians to  their homeland, and this can only be achieved if the Armenian citizen  is to be the country's top leadership." This should be the  cornerstone of the future of Armenia, "Pashinyan said. He also  stressed that the main task of the new government is to become a  guarantor of the institutional power of the people.

At the same time, he focused on the need for constant struggle for  their rights on the part of citizens. With regard to the involvement  of the Diaspora in the life of the Motherland, Pashinyan noted that  certain provisions of the constitution stall this process. "For  example, the Constitution says that only a citizen of Armenia who has  been residing in the republic for five years can become a minister in  Armenia, but we believe that this provision does not reflect the  aspirations of our nation and creates artificial obstacles to  Diaspora involvement in Armenia's life We intend to remove these  obstacles in order to use the potential of the Diaspora in the  establishment of Armenian government institutions, "Pashinyan said.
