ArmInfo.Most Armenians are convinced that external forces are not involved in the "velvet revolution". Director of the Gallup International Association in Armenia Aram Navasardyan stated at a press conference in Yerevan on May 11, presenting the results of the poll "Velvet Revolution in Figures" held from May 4th to 9th.
85.7% of the respondents were not convinced of the external impact on the processes in Armenia, another 2.1% believe that the US is behind the revolution, 1.2% is Russia, 1.1% - the EU, 0.7% - other countries, and 9.6% found it difficult to answer.
When asked how Armenia's foreign policy will change, 48.3% of respondents expressed the belief that the republic will conduct a balanced policy with all influential centers, 17.8% consider that the Russian vector will deepen, 11.4% - European direction, 6.3% - American, 2.8% - another, 20.5% - could not answer.
It is noteworthy that 68.3% positively assessed the reaction of Russian mass media to the situation in Armenia, 13.4% - negatively, another 18.4% - were at a loss to answer. 79.2% positively assessed the reaction of the US and EU media, 3.6% - negatively, and 17.3% - found it difficult to answer.
77.7% of respondents are convinced that Nikol Pashinyan will be able to solve the country's urgent problems within 6 months, while 14.8% are convinced that it will not be possible, another 7.4% could not say.
Asked if there will be elections tomorrow, who will vote for you, 66.3% of those polled voted for the Elk bloc, 8.5% for the Civil Contract party, 3.8% for the Republican Party of Armenia, 3.2% for Prosperous Armenia, 2.1% Tsarukyan block, 1.9% - ARFD, 0.2% - "Enlightened Armenia", 0.4% - "Heritage", 0.7% - other, 3.7% - for anyone, another 9.1% - it was difficult to say.
809 people throughout the country took part in the telephone survey: 33% from Yerevan, 67% from Armenian regions. Inaccuracy of the survey is 3.5%.
