First Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia: I made a decision on  resignation, I ask not to search for subtext in my words and  decisions

ArmInfo. The first deputy head of the Police of Armenia, Lieutenant- General of the Police Unan Pogosyan resigned. Poghosyan's statement reads: "I would like to  express my gratitude to colleagues for their many years of joint work, commitment to the same principles, support, for everything that we faithfully and consistently managed to do in the name of law, people and citizens, in the name of strengthening the rule of law and approval of public security, "he said.

In addition, Hunan Poghosyan expressed gratitude to his fellow  citizens for cooperation, strengthening mutual trust, which was the  main direction of mutual work in recent years, and where, in his  opinion, they achieved success together. A vivid testimony to what he  thinks is the latest developments, in the peaceful resolution of  which the whole system of police played an important role, in  particular Valery Osipyan, whom he called one of the disciplined and  organized police officers. "I congratulate him on his appointment,"  he said. "Of course, there have been omissions and mistakes, which is  inevitable in any work?" It is precisely the time and people who need  changing the time for omissions, the continuation of life and deed,  "the lieutenant-general of the Police said. "I decided to resign,  please do not search for subtext in my words and decisions," he  wrote, stressing that he always acted conscientiously. "I have always  served and will serve the Republic of Armenia, wherever this service  is required, and if I am confident that I can give maximum to my  state and people," Hunan Poghosyan said in a statement. Note that  today, in a conversation with journalists, the newly appointed Chief  of the Police of Armenia, former deputy head of the Police of Yerevan  Valery Osipyan stated that he is not a supporter of personnel pogroms  and is not going to take such steps in the department headed by him.
