Azeri MFA: Baku considers Artsakh`s participation in negotiations  incorrect

Baku considers it incorrect to accept the proposal of Artsakh`s participate in the negotiations. Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov said , APA  reports.  According to him, the format of the negotiations has  already been approved, it is announced within the framework of the  OSCE.

"Armenia and Azerbaijan are participating as negotiators, France, the  US and Russia as mediators, and we believe that negotiations will  continue in this format. 

The day before, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in  Stepanakert that the format of the negotiation process should be  changed and President Bako Sahakyan should speak on behalf of Artsakh  with the Azeri authorities. "As only Armenian authorities should  speak on behald of Armenia, the authorities of Artsakh should speak  on behalf of Artsakh, Armenia is also a party to the conflict and  will speak on its own behalf - I am ready for negotiations. Armenian  side is for peaceful settlement of the conflict, although Azerbaijan  continues to use aggressive rhetoric. I believe that the correct  factor for the resolution of the issue is the correct format of the  negotiations," the Armenian PM said. According to Pashinyan, Armenia  and Artsakh are not frightened or scared by the rhetoric of  Azerbaijan, especially now, when "our people and our nation are  united, more than ever," Pashinyan said.
