Ruzan Azizyan, Director of school number 11 resigned

ArmInfo. Director of school number 11 after Monte Melkonyan, Ruzan Azizyan resigned. On May 5, Anna Stepanyan, Head of the General Education Department of the Yerevan City Administration, said at today's meeting in the school.

"There is an order of the mayor, he believes that if the whole school  and teaching staff do not want to work with this director, then she  should not work," Anna Stepanyan said.

On May 4, pupils, as well as their parents gathered in the courtyard  of the school, demanding the resignation of Ruzan Azinyan.

Pupils claim that the director forbade them to participate in the  protest actions organized by the leader of the "Make a step"  movement, Nikol Pashinyan. It should be reminded that Azizyan is a  member of the Republican Party of Armenia and during the elections  she propagandized the parents of students to vote for the RPA, which  is prohibited by law. She is also a coursemate of Serzh Sargsyan.
