Serzh Tankian promised to join the demonstrators at Republic Square

ArmInfo. Worldwide famous rock-musician, soloist and founder of System of a Down group Serzh Tankian is confident that the authorities of Armenia try to win time  and provide some of their leaders with immunity  who have been robbing the nation through 20 years.

"Resistance to the popular movement is useless," Tankian wrote on his  Facebook page. Then he appealed to the assembled citizens in the  Republic Square and said that he was saddened by the fact that  because of a serious virus he still can not join them. At the same  time, the musician added that he closely follows the situation in  Armenia and will soon join the demonstrators.   "After many years of injustice, you won this fight." The real and  future of our country is ensured by your peaceful, thoughtful  activity, regardless of when the elections are held, if you boycott  them, you will make the changes tangible. "With Pashinyan as prime  minister of reform, early or will start late, "Tankian wrote.

At that, he called on not to succumb the anger and disappointment and  continue to keep their position.  According to the musician it is  hard to change a symbol, harder to change the Government, the hardest  thing is to change culture. "You have already done hard work",  Tankian wrote.
