The leader of the protest movement, the candidate for Prime minister Nikol Pashinyan, just spoke about this in a conversation with journalists. According to him, the people of Armenia no longer have the right to lose the victory won over the authorities.
According to Pashinyan, despite the efforts of the authorities, the scale of the protest movement has grown at times. As he noted, even the international press recorded that the opposition promises to break a new record - roads in Yerevan and in the republic will overlap more intensively. In this context, according to the leader of the movement, it is not essential what is happening yesterday in the offices of Armenian officials. "The former relations between the authorities and the people are no more and they will not be." The fact that even children participate in protest actions signals that there will not be the same order in the next 50- 100 years, and then they will not be simply because of the habit of " "he pointed out.
According to the leader of the protest movement, the authorities understand only the language of brute force and enjoys the fact that this is a "revolution of love and tolerance," wanting to prolong their existence for a few more days, "he said, noting that for this purpose the government is ready to go on any provocations as evidenced by the speeches of the RPA MPs in the parliament, Pashinyan said, he is prepared for all possible scenarios of the situation development. "I call upon all my supporters, if there are people who try to provocate, neutralize them without violence - we are not going to respond to violence with violence, and this is our action plan "- he said.
Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciates the step of the RPA deputy - ex-deputy head of the National Security Service of Armenia and ex-governor of Shirak region Felix Tsolakyan, who voted "for" Pashinyan's premiership on the eve. According to Pashinyan, this " annihilates" all the concerns of those people who claimed that Nikol Pashinyan's premiership threatens the national security of the Republic of Armenia.
The candidate for premiership also highly appreciated the possible involvement of the second and third presidents of Armenia Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan in the process of confrontation with the people o, since he believes that "this gives the protest wave greater scale."
