Edmond Marukyan questioned the fact of Karen Karapetyan`s permanent residence at the territory of Armenia, according to requirements of  Law

ArmInfo. There are objective doubts about the fact that the possible appointment of Karen Karapetyan to the post of prime minister does not meet the requirements of the law. About this on his page in Facebook wrote a deputy from the faction Yelk Edmond Marukyan.   In particular, by presenting the requirements of the RA Constitution and the RA Electoral Code, the deputy questioned the issue of the permanent residence of Karen Karapetyan for 4 years in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.   Meanwhile, the Passport and Visa Office of the RA Police found out that Karapetyan had submitted a statement in which he substantiated that the reason for his nomination for the post of deputy prime minister was the certificate he had provided to him about the border crossings at border checkpoints.   Head of the Passport and Visa Department of the RA Police Mnatsakan Bichakchyan noted: "The period of Karapetyan's premiership in RA was also included in 719 days, during which he was absent for 31 days. It follows that Karapetian was in Armenia for 688 days. Consequently, the certificate was provided to him according to the procedure established by law and in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the requirements of the law. "
