According to the results of the audit conducted by the RA Control Chamber, a number of violations of state interests were revealed, in particular with regard to the use of funds allocated from the state budget and state property management of the National Park of Sevan of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's office, it was revealed that the SNCO officials, based on personal interests, did not fulfill their official obligations. In particular, the works that were partially executed, which caused significant damage to the interests of the state property, were fully accepted; signed and confirmed official documents containing obviously false information: executive acts, protocols of handover and acceptance.
"Considering that in the above mentioned offenses there are elements of crime, the Office for the Protection of the Interests of State Property of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia appealed criminal proceedings under articlesfull 308 and 314 of Part I of the RA Criminal Code, "the ministry said. The preliminary investigation was entrusted to the RA Investigative Committee.
