On April 23 the leaders of the movement "Take a step, refuse Serzhu" MPs Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, Sasun Mikaelyan, as well as coordinators Armen Grigoryan, David Sanasaryan and several other persons were detained. Further, the Special Investigative Service reported that 24 participants of protests, among those subjected to a drive to the police departments, were detained on suspicion of participation, organization and conduct of mass riots by decision of investigators. Among them, MPs Nikol Pashinyan, Sasun Mikaelyan, Ararat Mirzoyan. Tigran Mazmanyan, Armen Grigoryan, David Sanasaryan, and Gor Mirzoyan, Erik Khachatryan, Aikaram Mnatsakanyan were detained on suspicion of using violence during active participation in illegal rallies and riots. "As for the situation on April 22, three of the detainees are in the status of the accused, the rest are suspects, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen against the accused Mazmanian and Mirzoyan," the SIS said.
