ArmInfo. In recent days, thousands of our citizens, most of whom are students, make their demands to the authorities in the form of protests. Armen Sarkissian's statement  reads.

"Young people are our future - our future soldiers, scientists and  engineers, politicians and government officials. Of course, their  voice must be heard, and their opinion should be respected.

Undoubtedly, in our country there are numerous socio-economic,  political and legal problems that require an early solution. The  Armenian parliament and the majority of the government, having the  appropriate powers, are called upon to discuss these issues and find  solutions acceptable to the society.

I am convinced that in such situations the only way out is dialogue  in any format and respect for mutual points of view. As the head of  the country, I call on the parties to a dialogue to find the best way  out of this situation. In this respect, I share the concerns  expressed by various public and political organizations in connection  with the current situation and welcome the ARF Dashnaktsutyun  proposal to create a platform for political consultations under the  patronage of the President of the Republic of Armenia to find  solutions to existing problems.

Until this platform is created, I call on both protesters and law  enforcers - to show restraint and responsibility. I want to remind  you once again that the security of our country, as well as stability  and national solidarity should become a priority and a necessity for  all of us," the president concluded.
