Paruyr Hayrikyan: The main goal of the Make a step, refuse Serzh  initiative was to reach national awakening

ArmInfo. The main task of the "Make a step, refuse Serzh" initiative was to achieve a national awakening and express the will of the citizens of Armenia. On April 18, at a  press conference the leader of the party "Union of National Self-Determination" Paruyr Hayrikyan stated that he also expressed his solidarity to the opposition movement.

Hayrikyan stated that this goal was achieved. "The Armenian public  realized that the only way to get rid of Serzh Sargsyan and the  Republican Party is to go out on the street fight."

At the same time Hayrikyan rebuked Pashinyan about the fact that he  did not fulfill his promise and did not block the approaches to the  National Assembly in order to prevent the entry of deputies into the  parliament and the holding of a meeting at which the Serzh Sargsyan  candidacy was to be voted on as prime minister. "Any politician must  fulfill his promises, otherwise we will turn into Serzh Sargsyan,"  Hayrikyan said.
