ArmInfo.Former Prime Minister of Armenia, leader of the Hanrapetutyun Party Aram Sargsyan from the rostrum of the National Assembly with a rhetorical question addressed the candidate for Premier Serzh Sargsyan: "You don't have deja vu - from prime minister to president, from president to prime minister, you have not bothered yourself? Why do not you want to give your power to anyone?"
Then, Sargsyan himself answered his own question: "You do not quit your post, not because you are asked about it by party members, but because you take an example from your colleagues in the Eurasian Economic Union."
Then the deputy reproached Sargsyan for privatizing the state dacha. "In these cottages dacha all the leaders of Armenia lived before you, but none of them had the idea to privatize it, all of them left these dacha after their resignation to their successors, all but you. Leave the dacha, the post and leave," the oppositionist suggested, advising Sargsyan not to hide his head in the sand and avoid the problems.
"Yes, you say that the elections were held without electoral bribes, that there is no corruption, bribery in the country, you are saying all this for others, but you yourself know the whole truth, you will not leave on your own," he said, stressing that if the situation does not change in the country, then bloodshed will not be avoided.
The secretary of the Elk bloc faction Edmond Marukyan urged Sargsyan not to undertake any reforms any more, since after each reform in the country the situation is aggravated. He also noted that citizens of the country do not have any hopes for change. "Everyone knows that there will be nothing, nothing will change, there are two realities in Armenia, yours and ours, and you do not know anything about ours, and today the law enforcement bodies, according to the new Constitution, obey you, if a drop of blood of protesters split in today's actions, all responsibility will lie on you", the oppositionist said.
Another MP from the "Elk" bloc, Mane Tandilyan, called on Sargsyan to remember his promise that he will not go for the post of prime minister.
The deputy from the Elk bloc Artak Zeynalyan addressed Serzh Sargsyan with the question: "In 2008, you were the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and national security, so answer the question, who issued an order on March 1, 2008, to use force against peaceful demonstrators?"
Vice Speaker of the Parliament from the "Tsarukyan" bloc, Mikael Melkumyan, in his turn stated that there is no justice and work in the country, and this is the main thing that the people expect from the authorities. "In addition, some issues could be resolved, which would lead to improvement of the situation in the country, for example, reduction of bank lending rates," Melkumyan said, stressing that the bloc will vote on the candidacy of Serzh Sargsyan in a free regime.
Representatives of the ruling coalition, represented by the Republican Party and the ARF Dashnaktsutyun in one of the best oriental traditions, showered Serzh Sargsyan with generous compliments - "wise, fair, intelligent, kind, honest, strong:"
