Participants of the action walked along the corridors of the university, chanting: "Take a step, refuse Serzh." The leader of the movement, the head of the "Civil Contract" party, MP Nikol Pashinyan noted that they came to the university to support students who had been pressured by the leadership of the university earlier. "I think this lesson is enough for rector Simonyan," Pashinyan said.
Then, the members of the "Make a step, refuse Serzh" movement hoisted their flag in front of the YSU. Today, Pashinyan and his associates marched to Yerevan and marched through the streets of the capital and a number of institutions with a call to join their ranks.
This morning in front of the central building of YSU a group of students announced a strike. The strike was a response to the incident that occurred a few days ago at YSU, when students tried to carry out a campaign to raise awareness of the people about the upcoming rally on Freedom Square scheduled for April 13, they distributed leaflets of the "My step" movement. In particular, the head of the security service of YSU attacked young people and tried to take away leaflets from them. The students were informed about the incident in the office of the Ombudsman.
Members of the party "Civil Treaty" headed by Nikol Pashinyan since March 31 hold a march to major cities of Armenia. The march started from Vardenjac square in Gyumri on March 31 and will end on April 13 at Freedom Square in Yerevan. Pashinyan starting the procession, in part, said: "As I promised, today I am starting my step against Serzh Sargsyan, against his stay at the helm for the third time." We will pass through Vanadzor, Spitak, Dilijan, Sevan, Hrazdan, Abovyan, Yerevan. On April 13 at 18:00 we will be at Freedom Square, so we want to create a platform for the citizens of Armenia to express their attitude towards the premiership of Serzh Sargsyan: this is a march against Sargsyan and the RPA, and for the benefit of the Armenian society free and happy Armenia, and against the swampy tions, the lies and the current regime ", - concluded Pashinyan.
