ArmInfo. Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with foreign diplomats accredited to Armenia in combination.
As the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, about two dozen diplomats arrived in Yerevan to participate in the inauguration ceremony of newly elected Armenian President Armen Sargsyan.
At the meeting, Nalbandian presented Constitutional changes in Armenia and a new governance system, talked about reforms in the country, also discussed the results of Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia-EU relations.
Nalbandian presented the foreign policy priorities of the country, as well as the efforts of Yerevan and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs for an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. At the meeting with the ambassadors, developments in the Middle East, ways to resolve existing problems, the situation around refugees and the efforts made to solve them were touched upon. The agenda also included preparations for the forthcoming Francophonie summit in Yerevan.
