ArmInfo.Armenia and Colombia will abolish entry visas for persons with diplomatic and service passports
As Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan stated, presenting the document, the abolition of the visa regime will facilitate the development of bilateral relations. This decision will also simplify the procedure for visits, since the RA and Colombia do not have a diplomatic mission on the territory of the two countries.
In addition, as the representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry indicated, the process of liberalization of the visa regime with the countries of South America continues. Already with 3 countries an agreement on mutual visa-free travel has been reached - this concerns Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. With Mexico, a preferential visa regime for the time being applies to persons with diplomatic passports. "The works in this direction will be continued," Shavarsh Kocharyan stressed.
Recall that on March 22 at a government meeting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan reproached the Armenian Foreign Ministry for the fact that for today there are a number of countries with which the facilitation of the visa regime does not threaten, but the decision on them is late.
