Just a  few weeks ago at the Munich Conference on Security, during the  meeting on the issues of relations between Europe and Russia, all  speakers - both from Russia and European structures - cited the  example of Armenia as the country that most effectively combined its  interaction formats. Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan stated  this during his speech at the 7th Moscow Conference on Security  Issues.

According to the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, in  his speech the head of the department, in particular, noted that this  year the conference is held in the conditions of heightened tension  in international relations, and the topic of the next meeting -  Global Security in a Polycentric World - is especially relevant. "The  urgency of the topic is evident already in the fact that every word,  every term in the title of our meeting bears the imprint of a  transformation, a profound modification," Vigen Sargsyan said.

As the minister noted, the word "global", once meant "universal,  universal, universal" - is now easily applied to any particular  phenomenon or process of a regional level that is directly displayed  on the world stage. In recent years, the number of events claiming a  "global" scale has increased significantly, the number of local and  regional processes affecting the development, adoption and  implementation of "global" solutions has dramatically increased. In this case, the  very concept of "polycentricity" excludes the possibility of the  victory of any of the actors, regardless of its capabilities and  resources, in a game with zero result. With increasing diversity of  interaction themes, expansion of the core players, information  exchange and decision-making, the broad international community -  that is, all of its players - from states to civil society  institutions, from the press to corporations, from world religions to  informal associations, in the most positive sense of the word, to a  constant process of interaction with small, medium and large results  that not only do not exclude, but also presuppose the progress and  strengthening of all other games shackles. The first impression is  that with such a world order, as Sargsyan pointed out, the countries  with the lowest specific gravity (by population, territory,  resources) should be the most difficult. Polycentricity involves the process of mutual enrichment  through exchange - information, skills, resources. As the head of the  Defense Ministry stated, Armenia is a clear example of the wide  possibilities of polycentric peace. "From the very first days of  independence, we often heard that we should make a geopolitical  choice on the principle of" either. "Everywhere there are  well-wishers who through lobbyists, the media, research centers want  to represent Armenia to the West as a puppet state under Russia's  control, and the same Armenia to Russia as a defector trying to sit  on two chairs," the minister said. one of the founding countries of  the CSTO, Armenia considers this organization and bilateral  interaction with Russia as the main external element of ensuring its  security, he said.
