The Catholic University of Pazmany Peter (Hungarian Pazmany Peter Katolikus Egyetem) is a non-state Catholic University in Hungary. Various faculties of the university are located in Budapest, Pilischaba and Esztergom. The university was founded in 1635, bears the name of its founder, Cardinal Peter Pazman. It is also known as Pazaneum. In 2009, the university had 736 teachers and 9,469 students. Over the years of the university's existence 26 thousand people graduated from it.
