ArmInfo.. Preparation for the forthcoming summit of Francophonia in October was discussed at the meeting in Yerevan by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Secretary of State for the Minister for European and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, who is on a two-day visit to Armenia.
According to the press service of the Armenian President, the sides also referred to the issues of the agenda of the Armenian-French exceptional relations.
Sargsyan noted that Armenia is waiting with great pleasure for the state visit of the French President, who, according to the Armenian leader, will give serious impetus to the further strengthening and expansion of the Armenian-French relations. In his turn, Lemoyne noted with satisfaction that work is underway in Armenia to prepare for the GIF summit and assured that France will assist in the proper conduct of the event. At the meeting, the sides also touched upon the negotiation process on the settlement of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict, regional problems and tasks.
