ArmInfo. Armenia attaches importance to further deepening and expanding relations with friendly Greece. On March 30, during the meeting with the Minister of Defense of Greece Panos Kammenos, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated.
In turn, Kammenos stressed that Greece highly values the Armenian-Greek interstate relations based on mutual trust. According to him, Greece stands for comprehensive development of relations with Armenia. Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the expansion of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defense sphere.
At the meeting, the ministers touched upon the Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as the strengthening of cooperation in multilateral platforms. On the agenda of the meeting were also the expansion of the regulatory framework between the two countries.
Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to find ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The meeting exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda and possible ways of their solution.
The Greek Minister of Defense presented his country's approaches to developments in the Middle East and the Balkans.
