VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa announced the winners action  #whendreamscometrue

ArmInfo. On March 28, the  results of the joint action of VTB Bank (Armenia) and the  international Visa payment system - #whendreamscometrue, which was  held between November 15, 2017 and February 15, 2013 for all holders  of Visa cards of VTB Bank (Armenia), were summed up.

As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, the draw was held at  the Hilton Hotel and was broadcasted live on the page of VTB Bank  (Armenia) on the Facebook social network. The winners were determined  according to the principle of random sampling. The holders of 8 new  iPad cards are VTB Bank (Armenia) cardholders: Hayk Hayrapetyan,  Narek Gushchyan, Gor Makaryan, Arut Grigoryan, Amalya Kirakosyan,  Tigran Margaryan, Hayk Stepanyan and Alvard Zakaryan. And the  cardholders of the Bank: Yermine Amirbekyan and Armen Sargsian became  the main prize-winners - happy owners of 2 tourist packages in Paris  Disneyland (each for 2 persons).

"VTB Bank (Armenia) constantly conducts campaigns aimed at  stimulating non-cash payments, the purpose of which is to increase  interest in making card payments among cardholders of the Bank and  increase customer loyalty. Every year there is a trend of growth in  the number of customers making payments in a cashless way, which  indicates the demand for the shares among customers," the Bank said  in its official message.

According to the terms of the action, upon the completion of the  campaign, 100 of the most active Visa card holders who during the  action made non-cash payments in the amount of 300,000 drams or more  at trade and service outlets of Armenia, abroad and on the Internet  took part in the 8- iPad new and 2 main prizes - 2 tourist packages  in Paris Disneyland (each for 2 persons).

According to the 16th edition of the analytical review "Armenian  Banks in Card Business" prepared by NA ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia)  holds the leading position in terms of the number of active cards,  both general and MasterCard and Visa, as well as the volume of  plastic transactions. So, on October 1, 2017, the Bank has almost 334  thousand cards, of which over 181 thousand are MasterCard and about  153 thousand are Visa. For 9 months of 2017, the volume of plastic  transactions on VTB Bank (Armenia) cards was 181.2 billion drams, of  which about 93% or 167.2 billion are ATM transactions. The Bank  managed to increase the volume of plastic transactions in the annual  cut by 13.5%, and ATM transactions by 14%.  Until 2013, VTB Bank  (Armenia) issued and serviced only international VISA cards, and  since September of that year, having become a full member of the  international payment system MasterCard Worldwide, started issuing  and servicing Cirrus/Maestro and MasterCard cards, along with  servicing and local ArCa cards. VTB Bank (Armenia) has its own  processing.
