Macron: France is committed to the settlement of the Karabakh  conflict through negotiations

ArmInfo. French President  Emmanuel Macron sent a congratulatory message to Armen Sargsyan on  his election to the presidency of Armenia.

The congratulatory message reads in part: "I will be happy to work  with you to strengthen our bilateral relations based on historical  ties, as well as on exceptional relations at all levels, from  government and parliament to local governments and civil society The  recently signed agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership  with the EU, in which France has also participated in the talks,  gives new momentum, which I hope will also have a positive impact on  the trade and economy economic and investment relations between our  countries. "

He also touched upon the forthcoming summit of Francophonie in  October in Yerevan and expressed the conviction that this event opens  up opportunities for deepening Armenian-French contacts, especially  from the point of view of development of the French University of  France and the French school, as well as the unique opportunity to  strengthen the French language in Armenia through the Center of  Charles Aznavour, after the completion of his work.

"France, being near you, will contribute to the successful holding of  the summit, I am happy to participate in this event and visit Armenia  in this regard.In conclusion, I would like to assure that France, as  the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, is fully committed to the process of  finding a stable settlement of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict through  negotiations, "the Macron message says.

Sarkisian was also congratulated by King of Morocco Mohammed VI bin  al-Hasan, Vietnamese President Chiang Dai Kuang, Chairman of the  State Council of Cuba, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Cuba  Raul Castro Ruz, President of Tunisia Beji Kaid Es-Sebsi, Chairman of  the National Council of the Slovak Republic Andrei Danko.
