ArmInfo. Between Russia and Turkey there is no and never was any agreement related to Karabakh. The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs and relations with compatriots Konstantin Zatulin stated in the conversation with reporters on March 26 in Yerevan.
Zatulin stressed that Russia does not consult either Turkey or anyone else on the issues of its external agenda, including with regard to cooperation with Armenia. "Ankara perfectly understands that the Kremlin will not stand aside and will fully implement its obligations to Yerevan in the event that Turkey suddenly resorts to aggression against Armenia for the sake of Azerbaijan," Zatulin concluded.
